On 14 November Nicholas Lee, Claire Bullock, Kate Gill and Lucy Baldwin attended the Personal Injury Awards 2014. The Event, held at the Grange St Paul Hotel, is an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work done by both individuals and firms in the personal injury sector. Attendees included claimant and defendant solicitors, insurers, claims management companies, mediators, rehabilitation experts and, of course, Costs Lawyers.
Guests were treated to a champagne reception, a fantastic three course dinner and were thoroughly entertained by comedian Josh Widdicombe.
Paragon Costs Solutions were proud to sponsor the award for Defendant Personal Injury Team of the Year, won by Belfast firm McKinty and Wright. McKinty and Wright were in fact double winners on the night with their Sean McGahan winning the award for Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor of the year. On the Claimant side, Switalskis Solicitors achieved a hat-trick of awards; Claimant Personal Injury Team of the Year, Claimant Lawyer of the Year and Outstanding Case of the Year. Other winners included ARAG UK, winning Insurance Provider of the Year for the third year running and Donna Scully of Carpenters Law, who received the Outstanding Achievement of the Year award. A huge congratulations to all of those mentioned and all other winners on the night.
