Maria Kouremenou

Maria is a dual qualified solicitor of England and Wales and Greece. Maria has got a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Athens, Greece, a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from the University of Bristol in the UK and a legal certification in Business Law from Bucerius Law School in Germany.

Maria began working at Paragon Costs in April 2019 as a Trainee Costs Lawyer and qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales in August 2022.

Maria has a wide case load which consists of various types of claim including personal injury, commercial litigation, subrogated loss and company law. Maria undertakes a variety of work in relation to both receiving party and paying party costs. She routinely deals with the full detailed assessment process and prides herself of the level of detailed advice she provides her clients throughout each stage.

Maria is also experienced in undertaking insurance audits and dealing with Court of Protection matters.

Maria has got negotiation and conflict resolution skills, a flexible and helpful attitude and a meticulous and detailed approach to customer service, going the extra mile for her clients.

Maria is now a General Committee Member of the Bristol Junior Lawyers Division (Bristol JLD)
